Thankful Thursday Three
On this sunny Thursday, I’m thankful for…
1) My parents’ lemon tree. Fresh, free, organic lemons all year long! It’s in full growing mode right now, which is great because I’m on a big lemon water kick.
2) Lunch breaks on days I work from home. Warm food rather than something that’s smushed and has been sitting in the fridge for hours. A magazine. The couch rather than my desk. Ahhhh
3) Lunch dates when I work from home. This guy is better than people magazine (duh) and makes lunch dates at home my favorite, especially when he cuddles.
And so much more. This week especially, I’m also grateful for forgiveness, to-do lists, meter maids that seem to skip my neighborhood, fluffy pillows, inspirational quotes, and patience.
–What are you thankful for today?
–Had any lunch dates lately? Do you usually eat lunch by yourself or with someone?
–Lemon water- yay or nay?

February 21, 2013 at 1:20 pm (90 days ago)I love the idea of having a lemon tree–that’s awesome. During the school year, I eat lunch at my desk in the office. During the summer, I have the luxury of eating at home, and usually with a date (my husband).

February 21, 2013 at 1:25 pm (90 days ago)I love that picture of the lemon tree – gorgeous! In Greece my grandparents have a fig tree in their garden which I feast off of when we’re there.
I have a lunch date a couple of days a week which is a nice change, but often eat at my desk, although I avoid staring at my screen at the same time. I think a lunch break with a cute dog would be pretty cool, too
!
Today I’m thankful I hauled my sorry ass to bootcamp and had a blast.

February 22, 2013 at 12:06 am (90 days ago)Beautiful lemon tree. I agree–lunch at home is so much better than at the office desk! And I love it when I can work from home and take a breather and ruffle some Lab ears.
