Tuesday Trades: Yoga, DMV, and October

***Hugs to all you East Coasters…thinking about all of you. I can’t believe how bad it is.***

Today, I was going to show you my Halloween night pics– the house party on Saturday had terrific decorations and themed food…..but it looks like none of my photos really came out. Oh well….

Instead, I’ll do a “Good and Bad” of the weekend/week Tuesday Trade ‘em Up style…..

What I would or wouldn’t trade this Tuesday. Here goes:

I wouldn’t trade my Sunday Rooftop Yoga hour. I went again this weekend! Doing yoga in sunglasses was a new experience….and the class was terrific once again.

I would trade this fog rolling in. Boo! It was still a nice day, but once the fog creeps in, it stays for a while.

blanket of fog…..

I wouldn’t trade the Giants winning the World Series! Clearly, I’m still excited about this.

But, I would trade all the looting that went on in SF afterwards (COME ON PEOPLES! So dumb and awful) or the fact that because I work outside the City, I have to miss the World Series parade through the streets. It’s scheduled for 11:30am on Wednesday. Sad.

I won’t even show you a photo of the looters because I don’t think they deserve it, but they broke storefront and bus windows, tore down huge trees, etc. This was supposed to be a happy celebration, not destructive!

I also wouldn’t trade this awesome lunch, eaten next to a stack of magazines and White Jacket Required (which I already finished).

But, I would trade somone stealing the 2013 registration off my car. Again– COME ON PEOPLE, what the heck? Now I have to pay the fee again AND wait in line at the DMV this morning. Really annoyed and have less faith in this City and especially in my neighborhood. I now know the “trick” so this won’t happen again.

But still, to end on a positive note, I wouldn’t trade this month. October’s been a really good one!

Hoping November is great as well!

How about you this Tuesday? What would or wouldn’t you trade?

Really, who steals registration stickers off of vehicle?

This Tuesday I’d trade pure sunshine for some shitty rainy weather!

Rooftop yoga still sounds amazing…wish there was some ing like that near me!

I wouldn’t trade the awesome weather we had in Chicago up until this week! Eek, but now it suddenly got cold. Oh we’ll–it held out pretty long for us.

When I lived in Chicago someone stole my sticker. My savvy neighbor told me a trick–put the sticker on and then scratch it a few times with a key – almost cutting it–so no one can remove it. I still do that.

Omg, I can’t believe people are stealing your registration sticker! What the heck? I didn’t even know that was a thing. And as for the looters in SF, we had something very similar here in Boston after the Sox won the world series for the first time in foreverrrr in ’04. I was kind of ashamed of Bostonians as well, I think one girl got trampled to death. It was horrible. Why can’t people just celebrate and be happy in a respectful way?

I totally agree. I didn’t know a girl was trampled to death– that’s horrible! What an awful way to die. I’m glad SF isn’t the only city for that to happen in after the series….but still is so awful

Why do you have to pay the fee again? That is not fair. Clean off all the old stickers and it would be hard to take it.

That photo of the fog rolling in is beautiful! I was so happy the Giants won, but I still can’t believe they swept Detroit.
I’d trade crappy roads, but I wouldn’t trade the snow that made them slick!
    Happy November!

I can’t believe it either…I actually felt a little bad for Detroit for not being able to experience winning at least one game of the World Series

I would trade the cold I had all weekend, but not the QT I spent with the BOY. Although I should prob trade something for the 11 mile run I didn’t get done. Your yoga class looks incredible! I would love to do outdoor yoga!

Sorry about your registration sticker! :(
My mom taught me years ago to scratch at it with a key or a small knife. I go a little too crazy with the scratching though. It usually ends up being almost obliterated… but hey! Better safe than sorry being @ the DMV… :P
