Lotsa Fruit: WIAW #32
It’s Wednesday, so I’ll just get straight to my eats (cause that’s what you’re here for anyways!). I photographed them on Tuesday and ate a ton of summer fruits all day long! Berries are just amazing right now, don’t you think?
Check out all the other WIAW posts for summer eats
On Tuesday mornings, I get to the pool at 6:30 for a swim. The pool was empty and it was so nice to have a lane to myself.
After the swim, I was really hungry for breakfast.
Coffee (i needed a lot today….), a smoothie (kale, spinach, blueberries, blackberries, and a giant strawberry), and a rice cracker with peanut butter. The smoothie was full of my farmers market goodies and tasted so fresh and yummy.
I spent the morning at an off-site meeting and then stopped at home for lunch and to grab a few things before going to the office. I used more of my farmer’s market stuff (i’m so afraid they’re going to go bad! i want to eat them quickly. jared bought me sooo much good stuff). I stir-fryed zucchini, squash, celery, and swiss chard in coconut oil. Did I tell you I mention that I am so into my coconut oil? Love the way it tastes on everything. I added a little chicken to the mix and a dash of soy sauce.
A few hours later at the office, I ate a yogurt and a peach….plus a half handful of trail mix.
And then I had a work event from 6-7pm and was hungry! There was the most beautiful summer fruit platter that someone made– check this out! I snacked on some
It’s too pretty to eat!
Unfortunately, by the time I started driving home, I had an awful stomach ache. I’m not really sure what I ate today that caused it (the fruit?), but it didn’t feel good.
I was still hungry for dinner though, so when I got home I had a big bowl of cereal with a handful of raisins in it. This tasted so good! Cereal for dinner just works sometimes.
And then, there’s always room for dessert. Chocolate Coconut Milk Ice Cream…Umm yum. This is delicious.
I think you could mix up my meals today– my dinner was more like breakfast. My lunch could have passed for dinner. And my breakfast could have been lunch. Haha, agree? Ever do that?
I followed up dinner with a walk..so pretty outside….
and then watched dvr-ed Real Housewives in bed. Ahh, a good night.
– Ever eat breakfast for dinner? Or leftovers for breakfast?
– Tell me something fun about your day

August 15, 2012 at 4:53 am (277 days ago)I swim in the morning sometimes too and having a lane to yourself makes such a positive difference! I will share when I need to of course, but yeah, I prefer it alone. Yummy eats too, cereal for dinner occurs way more often than I care to admit in my house haha

Ha Ha, I love that you feel you have to eat everything quickly so it doesn’t go bad. I promise it’ll be good for a few days girl. Way to get in those fruits though yesterday!!
