Yummy Eats: WIAW # 27
Hey there! I checked off most of my to-do list yesterday and so Wednesday already feels more relaxing than Monday and Tuesday did….ahhh! I missed WIAW last week, so am happy to be back on board this week.

This WIAW morning, I woke up to my old favorite. A smoothie.
Then, I ran in a 5k. And ate an UberBar sample when I finished (they were handing them out at the finish line). Umm, YUM! I didn’t think I’d like these as much as I did.
Lunch was at the Whole Foods bar. I picked up some food during my grocery shop. Quinoa salad with some roasted chicken on top, green grapes, and a sparkling water.
After hours in Target and the Container store, I needed ice cream…well fro yo…Jared got ice cream but I was craving fro yo and luckily they were next door to each other.
Dinner was a sweet potato and a rosemary lamb kabob (from whole foods). It was way too much meat so I ate about a third. The potato tasted so good!
And lastly, I wasn’t really hungry, but ate some cinnamon sugar popcorn for dessert. Someone brought this to our BBQ last week and it’s so good!
And since this month is about fitness, my exercise for the day was a 5k and running around doing errands! Errands count, right

–Favorite popcorn flavor? I love straight kettle corn too but this cinnamon one was awesome.
–Tried the UberBars? Have a favorite “bar” for snack? I usually eat larabars or pure bars.

Love straight kettle corn you find @ amusement parks.. Mmm!!
I’m eating my morning smoothie right now, and as usual.. it’s delicious!

July 18, 2012 at 6:06 am (305 days ago)We cheated and bought it pre- marinated/seasoned. I think it had rosemary on it. Whole a foods had a bunch of “rubs” that I think I’ll buy in the future so I can do it myself.

I love just plain popcorn with a bit of butter and salt, but caramel popcorn and dill pickle popcorn are also favourites of mine!

Today I ate some really good quinoa salad from Costco for lunch and some wild rice w/ salty tilapia (leftovers) and fresh stir fried veggies for dinner! Also had a little bit of waffle and syrup for a snack–haven’t had some of that in a while!!

My favorite way to eat popcorn is cooked on the stove, then topped with butter and parmesan. I tried twice this weekend to make it, burning it each time before giving up. (I think the popcorn was too old.)
