I’m dating an Ironman. He eats a lot (sometimes….sometimes he actually loses his appetite from training and doesn’t eat much). But, he needs the calories. This weekend, for example, he went for an 85 mile bike ride on Saturday (in 95 degree weather!) and followed it with an hour swim and a 10-mile run on Sunday.
Ummm, yes, he needs some food. I eat a lot too, but sometimes his plates look so enormous next to mine. Case in point–
He sent me a photo of his breakfast this morning– This is what my Ironman ate:
Eggs, french toast, pancakes, bacons, chocolate croissant and a bowl of fruit. Someone was hungry!
Here was my breakfast:
Green smoothie, coffee, and a broken piece of toast with pb&jelly.
So, no surprise that on most days….we don’t eat the same thing like some couples!
Happy Monday! My healthy intention today is to go to yoga at 8:30pm tonight. The last couple of weeks, I was too tired to go and missed it, but today I am determined!!
